Rady Asset Management, LLC is a San Diego, California-based investment management firm. The firm manages traditional long-only and long-short equity limited partnership investments, separately managed accounts as well as publicly traded mutual funds.

Harry Rady - Porfolio Manager/CEO
Harry Rady

Investment Experience:

  • Harry Rady is CIO and Portfolio Manager of Rady Asset Management.  He is the Senior Portfolio Manager of the Rady Contrarian Long/Short Fund (RADIX), a Lipper Leader, and the Long-Only Rady Opportunistic Fund that was ranked in the top 1% by PSN Informa for the 1,2,3,5, and 15 year periods through June 2009 in the Large Cap Value space.  The Rady portfolios have historically generated exceptional downside protection (down capture) and generated alpha (excess returns) in both long and short portfolio holdings, utilizing the firm’s unique tactical risk management system. Prior to establishing Rady Asset Management, Harry served as the CIO of a multi-billion dollar financial, investment, and real estate conglomerate.  He was also an investment analyst at a quantitative hedge fund. His extensive investment and operational industry knowledge provides a unique perspective to the firm’s portfolio management.   Harry serves as Chairman of the Investment committee for Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego and is on the Dean’s Advisory Board at the Rady School of Management at UCSD.  He is also a frequent contributor to CNBC, Barron’s, Forbes, WSJ and other financial publications.  Harry received his BA and MBA from the University of Southern California. 
Jordan Greenhouse - Chief Operations Officer
Jordan Greenhouse

Investment Experience:

  • Jordan serves as the COO of Rady Asset Management. Prior to joining RAM, Jordan was Vice President in the Private Client Division of Fidelity Investments overseeing assets of $1.3 billion dollars. Jordan has extensive equity, options, and fixed income trading experience. Jordan currently holds Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

Ramu Singh

Investment Experience:

  • Ramu serves as the Director of Research and Assistant Portfolio Manager of Rady Asset Management. Prior to joining RAM, Ramu was an investment banker with the Hinduja Group, a multi-billion dollar international conglomerate. Before that Ramu was a Managing Director at Banc Investment Group and Promontory Interfinancial. Ramu was one of the youngest Treasurers to serve a Federal Home Loan Bank managing a fixed income book in excess of $10 billion dollars. He holds a Series 7 and 63 securities license and received his undergraduate degree in business with honors from Shri Ram College in Delhi, his MBA in Finance from FMS Delhi, and was a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) in Finance at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Sep Sarshar, Ph.D. - Healthcare Analyst (Advisor) 
Sep Sarshar

Investment Experience:

  • Sep is the founder and a member of the board of Auspex Pharmaceuticals. He has over twenty years of experience in drug design, development and manufacturing and has helped advance a number of drug candidates into human clinical trials. He received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and went on to receive his PhD from Harvard University under the guidance of the 1990 chemistry Nobel laureate, Professor EJ Corey. Sep was a faculty member at UCSD and throughout his career, he has authored numerous peer reviewed scientific articles and is an inventor on over 100 drug patents.
Dr. Michael Miyamoto, MD - Healthcare Analyst (Advisor)

Investment Experience:

  • Dr. Miyamoto received his college and master's degree from Stanford University, where he graduated with Distinction and Departmental Honors. He attended medical school at University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and then completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. Following that he became a clinical and research fellow in Cardiology, Heart Failure and Transplantation at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. His numerous academic awards included: 1) 1987 Phi Beta Kappa, 2) 1988 Graduation with Distinction and Departmental Honors, Stanford University, 3) 1990 A. Baird Hastings Society, U.C. San Diego School of Medicine, 4) 1992 Outstanding Thesis Award, Second Prize, U.C. San Diego School of Medicine, 5) 1996 Roman W. De Sanctis Clinical Scholar Award. Dr. Miyamoto was also involved in teaching and clinical research. In 1998, he was an instructor for medical students in Cardiovascular Pathophysiology - Division of Health Sciences and Technology at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He performed basic and clinical research, and published extensively in medical and scientific journals. His major research interest is in the area of heart failure. Dr. Miyamoto is currently in group practice of cardiology in Orange County, California and advises Rady Asset Management in the field of healthcare and biotech.
Jeff Middleswart - Senior Analyst

Investment Experience:

  • Jeff worked at Barre & Company (now Southwest Securities) for three years as an analyst of high-yield bonds, bankruptcy restructurings, and corporate finance. Jeff serves as Senior Analyst and has in the past successfully predicted several substantial stock implosions including Paging Network, Sunbeam Oster, AES, Providian Financial, Metris Companies, and several other consumer finance companies. Jeff graduated from Texas Christian University in December 1989 with a BBA degree in Finance.
Bill Whiteside, CFA - Analyst

Investment Experience:

  • Bill serves as an analyst at Rady Asset Management and has extensive sell side research experience. Past reports include Americredit (ACF), Retek (RETK), FPA Medical Management (FPAM), Tetra Tech (TTEK), and Accredo Health (ACDO). Bill graduated from Texas Christian University in 1991 with a BBA degree in Finance.
William Becker - Analyst

Investment Experience:

  • William is an analyst with Rady Asset Management and has extensive sell side research experience. Past reports include Cyrk (CYRK), Just for Feet (FEET), and Sports & Recreation (SPRC). William graduated from Rhodes College in 1992 with a BA degree in Political Science and Psychology and 30 hours of Accounting.
Brian Evans, CFA - Analyst

Investment Experience:

  • Brian worked at Smith Barney for five years as a stockbroker before becoming an analyst in 1997 and earning his CFA accreditation in 2000. Past reports include United Online (UNTD), Alkermes (ALKS), and Ely Lilly (LLY). He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1991 with a BA degree in Economics.
Jeffrey Dalton - Analyst

Investment Experience:

  • Jeffrey interned in the equity research department of GSB Investment Management in Fort Worth and became a full-time analyst in 1999. Past reports include: Fleming (FLM), Electronics for Imaging (EFII), and RSA Security (RSAS). Jeffrrey graduated from Texas Christian University in 1998 with a BS in Economics with Accounting and Finance concentrations.
Kevin Beech, MBA, JD- Analyst

Investment Experience:

  • Kevin worked for DaimlerChrysler Corporation for eight years and completed the company’s Advanced Degree Development Program. While at DaimlerChrysler he held various assignments in Treasury and Controlling, including a two year assignment in Mexico City where he was responsible for developing and implementing the company’s $2 billion hedging strategy. Most recently, he was the manager responsible for financial control and income statement reporting for DaimlerChrysler’s $345 million worldwide post-launch engineering budget. Kevin is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association. Kevin graduated from Brigham Young University in 1998 with an MBA and Juris Doctor.
